The obverse of the banknote depicts King Norodom Sihanouk who was King Sihamonis father. It features Naga which is a mythological serpent. The reverse of the banknote centers the Koh Ker ruins and on the right is a sculpture of a baby elephant. The paper bill which is 152 x 72 mm in size has a solid security thread with a demetalized 5000 and the denomination in Khmer text. It also has a watermark that reflects King Norodom Sihanouk and an electrotype lotus flower. This Cambodia 50,000 Riels is in uncirculated condition.
