Description: Travel back in time with this sweet old trumpet. Built by Getzen in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. It has a no prefix serial number (97,537) so is from sometime between 1946 and 1964. It's a Super Deluxe model. Copper/brass/silver lacquer finish. The plus is that the original finish on pistons is fine. The prior owner kept it properly lubed. I just oiled it and greased the tuning slides. All the slides move properly. The compression is very good, and it plays well. The minus is that it has a somewhat minor bell dent/fold on one side. It has some ordinary age and play wears. It's not that bad looking at all. Cosmetically, I'd say it's decent looking. It comes with a Getzen mouthpiece. It comes in the original Getzen hard case. The case handle, latches, and hinges all work properly. It's a classic All-American trumpet, ready for its next owner. Questions?
