Description: Featured is a vintage 1920 postcard depicting the Vista down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, DC ... from the Steps of the Treasury Building to the US Capitol ... it is a beautiful image, with its unmarred presentation of Buildings, Autos, Trolleys, and even the American Flag flying above it all. A scarcer postcard view ... scarcer than those from circa 1912 (buildings show awnings) and/or the 1930s linen version. Certainly scarce in such Mint condition. From the Curt Teich "C T American Art Colored" Series. * PC "new" to extent it is New Old Stock, has not been used in any manner, and remains in MINT condition. This pristine postcard comes from the Curt Teich Archives. The card has been in our possession for approximately 15+ years ... long before the Curteich digitally archived images found their permanent home with The Newberry Institute. At the time of our acquisition, the Lake County Discovery Museum in IL was the custodian of the company's records, having served in that capacity since 1982.
