Description: Burns Green Obsidian with Cristobalite thumbnail mineral specimen. Approximately 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 cm. Photographed dry in artificial and natural light. I had about 12 specimens recovered of the material. All weathered out of host rock. Christobalite is a mineral polymorph of silica (quartz). This is a rare association.
