Its obverse side contains inverted mirror images of the 26th president of Brazil, Marshal Humberto de Alencar Castelo Branco. Its reverse side shows inverted mirror images of a hydroelectric dam spillway and a telecommunications antenna. Security features include a solid security thread with printed BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL and a watermark of Castelo Branco. The note was withdrawn in 1989.
