Description: * DescriptionIt has been checked to work properly. It has some scratches and dirt, but it is still usable. DD-2 Review The BOSS DD-2 was the world's first compact digital delay, released in 1983.○ Reasons for choosing the DD-2 To cut to the chase, the DD-2 is different from recent digital delays in that, despite being digital, it has a warmth like analog, and is also clear and very musical. Rather than using it to add atmosphere, I personally tend to use it more as a way of expanding the space in a clear, convenient way that matches the tempo. Depending on the player, they might think that because it's digital, something clearer would be better, or that the latest model would be better, and that there's no need to use an old model like this. However, when used in combination with an analog delay, it can achieve a good balance of expansion, so it's quite convenient. If you find that using just an analog delay is not enough, but using two of the latest delays at the same time is not interesting, then I think there is room for consideration. Also, as a user of the DD-2, Eric Johnson had it on his board. Eric Johnson used the BOSS DD-2 in addition to the Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Memoryman.○ Features of the DD-2 A warm digital delay sound that is different from analogA clear sound that is not as clear as the latest digital delays. Some fluctuation in the soundThe delay sound is thicker than normal digital delays.○ Disadvantages of the DD-2It does not have a tap tempo function, so you cannot set the delay time with the on-time setting. The sound is simple and uncomplicated, so it's a bit too ordinary now.○ Comparison with the DD-3 The DD-3 also reigns as a classic, and in recent years it has become possible to input tap tempo as the DD-3T. I no longer have a DD-3, so I can't make a comparison video, but the DD-3 has a slightly clearer sound, and the delay sound feels thin and cold. (This does not apply to the early DD-3s.)○ Overall review by the author The BOSS DD-2 is a delay that you want to use when you want to use multiple delays and create atmosphere. Of course, it's a good delay to use on its own, but if you're thinking of using it for live performances, you might want to use a more convenient and better delay. However, there are not many digital delays with a good atmosphere, so it's also attractive to use on its own. Also, although it's a vintage item, it's often sold at low prices, so it might be interesting to try using it while it's still available. * ShippingWe ship using FedEx, DHL and Japan Post. * PaymentWe usually ship within 5〜10 business days of receiving cleared payment. * International Buyers - Please Note:Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.
