It makes the existing soft light in your door much more visible! • How it works: LED lights are directional so without these covers the light only shines in a downward direction as a soft illumination towards the door handle. These plastic strips act as a lens, concentrating the light internally in the plastic and illuminating the strips to form a brighter sharp line that enhances the look of your vehicle. • Does not include lights! This is for cars that already have the optional BMW ambient lighting package. You will know if you have the necessary lighting package if you have a row of soft lights in your door panels.
