Description: PLEASE NOTE: I’m not a professional grader but have over 40 years of collecting, trading & selling comic books & other collectibles. Please read description in 3rd paragraph. Please view all photos & ask any questions you may have. Grading is not a science. The impact or the importance of flaws to a book can vary from person to person. I may feel a faint water stain on the back cover is minor where someone else feels it’s more of a major defect. What I may think is a 6.0 or 6.5 someone else may think it’s a 5.0 or 5.5. I try to note what I feel are the most notable of defects and give honest grade ranges. I’m not trying to hide anything, I just may think something is not as major as someone else. Please do not purchase if you disagree or like to debate grade ranges. Purchase professionally graded comics then. I see the poorly graded comics listed out there. Also it is not my concern how the book can possibly be improved or not improved by a pressing, cleaning or any other restoration. Thank you and sorry for the rant. Oh and thank you to all the moron sellers that copy my titles exactly. Weak. Well they say imitation is the highest form of flattery. And I really didn’t think I needed to address this but PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING then want to return it because you didn’t like it or it’s not what you expected. Look. Read. Ask questions. And don’t make up stuff about item not being vintage or authentic when you have no idea what you are talking about. Offered up from my personal collection is a “RARE” BERNI WRIGHTSON: A LOOK BACK. Copyright 1979 by The Land of Enchantment and Berni Wrightson. By Underwood-Miller 1991. 9 x 12. Softcover. (Full Color) 358 pages. Written, designed & edited by Christopher Zavisa. Special introduction by Harlan Ellison. Art by Berni Wrightson. A Look Back details his early magazine and comic work, including the evolution of his justly renowned The Swamp Thing. A number of unpublished illustrations from Wrightson’s masterpiece, Frankenstein, are also collected here. This book showcases the talents of one of America’s foremost illustrators. Every aspect of the artist’s career is explored. Vintage “KEY” BERNI WRIGHTSON book and a “MUST HAVE” for any Comic Book and Berni Wrightson completist/collector. In my estimation the book ranges in “NICE” (6.5) FINE+ to (7.0) FINE/VERY FINE condition or higher with white pages. Very moderate wear to cover, spine, corners & edges. A very tight, sharp, bright & glossy looking copy. There are no other glaring flaws to note, that is not typical to books falling under the indicated grade ranges or visible in pictures. I am not a professional grader but grade very conservatively using The Overstreet Price Guide as reference and my 40+ years of comic book collecting/selling experience. Pictures are of the actual book you will receive. No stock photos. All books come bagged & boarded. Books are packed with care by a lifelong collector. All books are shipped “FREE” of charge. Books are boxed shipped using USPS Priority Mail and includes tracking & insurance. PLEASE NOTE: Items $500 and over will require signature confirmation. All sales are final. No returns. Add me to your favorites as I slowly start selling off my personal collection with many books purchased at time of publication, read once and stored for decades.
