Description: BERGGER Cyanotype Kit (ready to use kit with paper, brush and mixing tools) All you need to make Cyanotype prints right out of the box!By applying the Cyanotype emulsion on to any paper or surface, you can make beautiful "blue toned" prints using nothing more than sun light and water. Cyanotype is an old monochrome photographic process that produces a "Prussian Blue" toned print. The technique was invented by the British scientist and astronomer John Frederick William Herschel in the 19th century. With the cyanotype technique, you can create photograms (sun prints), from objects placed on the Cynotype sensitized paper or contact prints from a photographic (or digital) negative. As the emulsion is UV sensitive, you can easily make contact prints or photograms (sun prints) using sunlight, with no special tools or darkroom needed. This kit contains everything you need to make prints right away: Cyanotype emulsion, an applicator brush, one pack of Cot320, a special paper uniquely suited for Cyanotype prints (though any paper or material may be coated with the emulsion), mixing beakers and a ceramic mixing bowl for the working solution.
