Description: Up for sale is a beautiful mid century abstract expressionist screen print by the rare John Talleur whose works are held in the collection of the Moma, Smithsonian and The Art Institute of Chicago just to name a few. This large and impressive print is from the tiny edition of one five and is titled "Rain God" as seen low right. Signed low right in pencil, this unframed print measures 35.5 x 29 inches and is an absolutely stunning abstract example by Talleur. Composed of what looks like large brush strikes of red and blue, it looks absolutely fantastic. The condition of this unframed John Talleur screen print is beautiful showing minimal tears in the composition only visible when unframed and under extremely closer examination. This is due to its extremely fine thin paper, some conservator tape has been applied on the back to safely stabilize these small imperfections. The images provided accurately represent the quality, condition and aesthetic beauty of this John Talleur but if you have any questions please feel free to ask prior to purchasing!
