Augustine Kofie Original "Cocked and Loaded" 2009 Mixed Media

Description: This work was purchased from the RETROFITTED show at White Walls in 2010. I am selling because I own two other larger works by Kofie. "Cocked and Loaded"14 1/8" x 14 3/8" x 1 1/8" House paint, acrylic, pencil, ball point pen, acrylic ink, gel transfer and found tacks on wood panel. Finished in matte gel. Framed/edged in found yardsticks and used paint sticks. Note: I had previously listed this as being produced in 2010, but I finally took a photo of the back and it was clearly made in 2009, but sold to me in 2010. There was no COA issued from the Gallery, but the original gallery sticker and Kofie's signature and stamp are on the back (see last photo). I can also send you the original invoice that was sent to me by the gallery if you would like. **** Born and based in Los Angeles and active in the Southern California graffiti scene since the mid-nineties, BIPOC artist Augustine Kofie (b. 1973) works in painting, collage and mural interventions.
