Description: Beautiful Art Nouveau wall clock by Gustav Becker. Early 1900s. I could not find another example of this casework anywhere online. Recent estate sale find. Lovely sinuous lines. Mahogany wood is in very good shape with some wear to original finish. Clock is in running condition but needs to be cleaned and adjusted. Right now the clockworks sit a bit low in the case and the clock does not run in the case due to balancing issues. The wood brackets holding it have warped over the last 125 years. Some damage to copper dial as shown, which could fairly easily be fixed once the face is removed. Original pendulum in good shape. Original key included as well as a 1978 reprint of an anniversary booklet originally printed in 1924 in German about Gustav Becker clock history. 34.5” tall by 13” wide by 6.5” deep.
