Manufactured in 1959 which was a great year for Baldwin. According to many the Baldwin Model M is a nicer piano than the similarly sized Steinway Model S. It's a much nicer scale and built much better. This particular Model M is an ultra rare Art Deco case. You will not find another like this. Notice the round tapered legs, lack of a fall board, the unique lyre, The unique two piece lid. The previous owner let me know the rebuild was very extensive and costly. She mentioned the piano got : new strings, hammers and hammer shanks, action pieces, tuning pins, plate redone. A similar piano would be nearly impossible to find. Steinway also made an ultra rare Art Deco piano very similar to this one, also impossible to find. This piano is fully tuned and serviced . The soundboard and bridge are in mint condition.
