Description: Whole Clay Pigeon dating from 1890's to 1920's. Found Buried in mud at a location where duck hunting was common during that time. 4.25 inches wide. Has quite a bit of embossing on the inside of the pigeon. Some of the writing indicates that this was made by the Western Cartridge Company from East Alton, Illinois, U.S.A. Good condition for its age but has a ding with some material missing. Most of the ding is on the inside of the pigeon, but the ding does extend out onto the edge as can be seen in the pictures.
