Description: Lovely small antique Victorian Heart Shaped Mourning Hair Jewelry Charm or Pendant dating to the early Victorian period, late 1830’s. The lovely heart shaped Pendant Charm is double sided woven hair with a yellow gold rim. The delicately woven dark brown hair on each side creates a puffy heart. One side the woven hair is dented in but does not appear to be broken, just a bit collapsed in a few areas (likely squeezed at some point in its long life). The gold rim tests for at least 10K gold and has relief elements at the top and bottom. The gold has an aged patina and minimal wear from age and use.
