Description: ANTIQUE TONSILINE BOTTLE 1880s FOR SORE THROAT. This early bottle was dug in Contra Costa Co. Ca. In the 1970s. This was made before the giraffe issue which was made later on and some with a screw cap as near as I can tell. It is a nice light aqua rectangle with all 4 panels indented and stands 5 1/2 inches tall and just about 1 7/8 inches across the base. Notice that there is a ring below the applied lip and just above the rounded shoulders. A few nice bubbles with a trace of soil residue inside. There are no cracks or chips etc and was used for soothing tonsillitis.
