Description: Antique Rosenthal Bavaria Donatello artist-signed and dated porcelain bowl. The blackberries, flowers and leaves are beautifully hand-painted in purples and greens on a pale green background. The artists name, C. S. Howard, is neatly printed with the year, 1910. Two small handles are formed in the narrow gold trim around the top. It is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of wear and use. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or hairlines on it; however, there's a 3/4-inch square area on the flat bottom surface where the glaze looks dull, as if a price sticker or label had been there. I tried to capture that spot in the last photo. It measures 9 1/2 inches across from handle to handle and stands 2 1/2 inches tall. On the back, it is stamped Rosenthal Bavaria Donatello.
