Description: An antique Rookwood Pottery 1924 original set of a teapot, sugar bowl, and creamer with a gourd shape and a deep autumn yellow glaze. They are marked on the underside with the Rookwood logo, the 2663 shape number and the year of production1924. This set is perfect for a fall/Thanksgiving display. CONDITION: The sugar bowl and creamer are in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. The teapot is in good antique condition with a repaired chip to the teapot spout and two hairline cracks on one side of the teapot body. One hairline has two branches: a primary branch which is 3" long extending from the rim down the body and the secondary which shoots off the primary and is 3/4" long. The other hairline is 1 1/2" long and also starts at the rim. Both hairlines can be seen on the inside. The hairlines are less noticeable due to the glossy glaze.
