Description: This Roger Smith (1862 - 1877) c.1865 Silverplate Coffee Teapot has a turret style top with a pomegranate finial, the teapot body has two different etchings on each side, 1 side is a wheat stalk and the other side is a peacock and flowers. This teapot is in very good condition, has a very slight ding.(see last picture, it's hard to see in person)Measure : 11" Tall Includes finial 9" Deep Includes Spout and 4" Diameter Base.Very Good Defined- Well-maintained. Shows minor signs of wear that are consistent with light use. Does not diminish the overall appearance or function of the item. This item was pre-polished to verify condition and to gives you a good indication of what you will get.
