Description: A Beautiful Railroad Antique Collectible! RR Padlock, 1905 patent date. This is so cool! I did NOTHING to clean it because the patina is so beautiful. If you buy it and wish to shine it up, that's awesome. I chose not to clean it up because I have no idea what would most please the buyer. Some like it shiny, some like it original. Once you make it shiny, you lose original, so I just left it. The lock has a patent date of 11-21-1905! It is locked and I have the matching yek. The spring door on front opens nicely and springs back as it should. There is a loop on the bottom right side, presumably to hold a chain. This lock is solid and relatively heavy for its size. There are markings on the front and back. FrontRY. EX. AGY BackRY. Ex. AGY, PAT 11-21-05. Made In USA. QR1874 on the top of the lock, this number matches the number on the yek. The lock is a pretty standard size railroad lock and measures about 3.5" tall by 2.5" wide.
