Description: Blue Cherry Antiques Fine Antiques & Jewellery Ottoman Silver Filigree Zarf A 19th century Ottoman period zarf. It is in silver filigree with petal shaped panels and daisy type flower decoration. The lower band of flowers have traces of gilt and they are attached to stalks which are crimped through the main body. There are no marks which is typical for the period and it tests as silver at the .800 standard. Condition Some wear minor deformations as expected. A couple of slight losses to the filigree rolls. One of the flowers on the stalks is missing.
