Description: This large Meissen vase is quite the centerpiece statement! The striking color combination and the opposing handles, each with dual snakes, are unique and attention grabbing. It is 19" to the top of the snakes back, 12.5" wide and 8" deep. It is properly marked with the Meissen crossed swords on the bottom. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. I believe there is some loss to the gold decoration on the snakes, but I can't be certain as I just recently purchased it. One noticed flaw, there is a smudge on one snake coils, not really noticeable, shown in the last photo. Please see all photos to judge this very special vase for yourself. Feel free to ask if you have any questions or need additional pictures. Please know that I realize that shipping is high on this listing. It will be double boxed, insured, and in an oversized box for safety. I have taken the cost of shipping into account and have priced this vase lower than I originally intended to. I live between Frederick and Columbia Maryland and would be happy to have you do local pickup if you decide.
