Description: Here is an antique lantern that may have been used on a rail car. It is cylindrical and measures approximately 18” tall. It hung on a brackets based on the wedge on the side. The fuel is unknown as there is no evidence of kerosene or a wick. The spring inside the bottom may give someone a clue as to its function. It is a unique piece.
