Description: ANTIQUE HAMMERSLEY & CO LONGTON SMALL COFFEE CUP AND SAUCER POST 1912 Pale brown with darker brown dots. The cup is 2 1/4" high and 2 3/8" in diameter at the top. Green mark and red painted 3831/3. Complex handle that has been broken and reglued. Minute fleabite on the base - otherwise no chips or cracks. The saucer is 4 5/8" in diameter. Red painted S. 35. On the base. Some roughness and crackling in the glaze. The dots on the saucer are slightly darker than those on the cup. It was part of a set, each a different color, that was my grandmother's, so I think it was always like that. Please ask questions prior to bidding and thank you for looking.
