Description: I am pleased to offering this Antique rare find German Black Forest Hand Carved Wood figure of a weathered old woman carrying a basket on her back, with a wood pile. She is dressed in farmers clothing with a long dress and apron. Her head is covered with a kerchief. She has on clunky old shoes and there is a large stick in her hand aiding her walk. Her other hand rest wearily on her knee. She is 7" tall, the base is 3 3/4" x 2 1/4". The details are remarkable and realistic. This is a wonderful example of fine word working skills. There is no damage. I will be offering some other Black Forest Figures, some are signed. This one is not. Thanks for visiting.
