Resting on a solid casted base comprising of leaves and berries with the fully dimensional figures of a hen and baby chick. Hallmarked with the French Minerve 1st standard mark indicating a silver content of .950/1000 silver. Bearing maker's mark for silversmith Hector, Alfred Hector, active 1881-1913 at his workshop located at 25 Rue Palestro in Paris. In overall good antique condition with general wear.
