Antique French European Cottage Farm Floral Cotton Fabric

Description: I had a wonderful opportunity to acquire some lovely antique French and European cottage farmhouse florals. A marvelous array of gorgeous designs made in the Alsace area and nearby Germany. All in the 1920's-40's range. French sourced from a collector. These gorgeous florals were considered common everyday textiles, many put aside for dowries as they were household staples useful for many projects. I'll be listing a beautiful variety in various listings, all excellent quality textiles. My last photos show some of the other fabrics that will be available. This one is a beautiful floral. Really darling design with lovely details. Very sweet time softened coral color. Truly beautiful in a romantic country cottage farmhouse projects, home pieces, quilting & patchwork, clothing elements etc Circa about the 1920's to 40s or so. Appears in nice condition for its age and former use. Most likely salvaged. The fabric appears clean. Hues again are slightly softened which is part of its charm. Measure~ aprox 50”wide by 30” long. I can keep up to “2” uncut, so up to 50” wide by 60” long can be sent in one length. I also listed sweet shams made from this fabric. Many thanks! Welcome to my store!
