Description: Beautiful Antique Favorite Piqua Ware No. 7 Cast Iron Skillet with Block Logo made by Favorite Stove and Range in Piqua, Ohio from 1916-1934. CONDITION: Skillet is in good antique condition and sits perfectly flat. Cooking surface has some isolated spots of micro pitting and one side of the inner sidewall has some light etching/micropitting from previous rust. The pitting on the sidewall is only lightly perceptible to touch and mostly just visual. (see pics). Lines on Logo and numbering are clean and clear. Skillet does not spin, has no cracks, chips, rust, or repairs. Please see photos as part of description. ~Disclaimer: All vintage and antique cast iron typically shows some signs of wear including light utensil marks, discoloration, and minor pitting. RESTORATION: This vintage piece of cast iron has been carefully cleaned to bare iron using a combination of electrolysis, lye, and vinegar.
