Description: Just one of inkFrog's Creations Description: Antique European 800 Silver Enamel Engraved Lucky Star Charm 1909 This is a lovely antique European enameled lucky star charm or pendant featuring a five-point star enameled in the basse-taille style. Underneath the enameling, the silver has been etched to make the star appear to be 3-dimensional. The words beneath the star translate from German to: "May he be your lucky star." Beautiful engraved embellishments enhance the charm's appeal. The charm measures 11/16 of an inch by 7/8 of an inch including the suspension loop. The loop is stamped with an Austrian maker's mark 'EJ' and and Austrian import stamp which denotes '800' for Continental silver. The reverse of the charm bears the hand-engraved initials 'GM' or 'MG,' and the date '1900.' The condition is very good for its age with no damage, just some tarnish which can easily be polished to a sheen if desired. Please scroll down to the next pane to review shipping terms. Welcome!
