Description: Early vintage antique primitive hanging wood candle box with slant front lid and scalloped cutout design top. Divided box shows age related use wear and patina. Small nail construction. Old glued repair shows on back top of box where it was split. Slant front top shows slight warping. Not sure if the hinges are original, please use your own judgement. The box shows the appropriate age by the underside of the lids color. You can clearly see the lighter and darker marks from the lid sitting on the box. Good solid condition for age. Being sold in as found condition with dirt, dust, stains, scuffs, scratches, splits or cracks to wood and surface rust to hinges. Measures 12"l x 8"w x 9"h overall.
