Now for the Good Part---I am Pleased to offer this Authentic Original Antique or Vintage Primitive Hand Made Choctaw Indian Basket in Very Good Condition. This is NOT a Repro and comes from a Mississippi Estate Sale. This is a Larger Basket and measures almost 16 inches across at rim from end to end. It measures about 12 inches across from side to side at handle. It is about 7 inches tall not including handle and about 12 inches tall including handle. This is a Very Early Basket Woven from Swamp River Cane and Dyed. The dye used on this basket was natural and has faded and darkened through the many years. You will be Very Pleased with the Age of this Basket. It has Not been cleaned or oiled or coated in Any way! It is Very Well-Made and has Very Tight Weave. The Condition is Very Good for its Age! I do Not see any damage or repairs. It is Very Strong and Pliable. You will be Very Pleased!
