Description: I have here for sale a set of four very heavy duty superbly made vintage or antique cast iron casters. Beautifully made casters and obviously designed to carry a heavy load. Obviously of some considerable age but in good order. Not sure of the original purpose of these casters or what they were originally attached to. All identical and all have a mark stamped into the cast iron HM as shown. Each caster measures just over 10 inches from top of fixing plate to bottom of the wheel. All these casters swivel perfectly just as they should and each one weighs over 1.5kg so are certainly heavy duty casters. I assume the wheels are of some form of very hard rubber, they are warm to the touch unlike the cast iron and all are in perfect condition. An interesting set of vintage casters which will be ideal for your up cycling idea or for what ever you have in mind and i dont think you will find a better heavy duty set of casters such as these easily.
