Antique Early 1900s Original Gothic Mission Arts HUGE Brass Copper Light Sconces

Description: SIZE- Very large: 21 1/2” Tall x 12” Outward x 8 3/4” Diameter/Hexagon at the spikes. 2 Mounting back plates per light support arm. Salvaged for Restoration- VERY RARE Original outdoor Large set of lighted mission arts crafts brass/copper light sconces from the very early 1900s - 1920s era. CONDITION- The lights are original as found, there is faded/flaking layers of old weathered paint. The copper/brass frames are intact overall, one light does have an upper spike/tine tip that is slightly bent (Pictured). The lights were sent for new wiring to check for operability of the original sockets, the original wires were basically deteriorated away. The lights work beautifully! All the original paint that was on the lights when found was left and is. These lights are what I believe is copper most likely but potentially brass, had they not been painted over the years they would most likely be a naturally aged green. These would look fabulous with the paint stripped and left to age naturally but to each their own on the restoration color of choice, or leave as is for the naturally aged black. The glass panels are surprisingly all intact and have a wonderful texture. There is a panel with a good bit of edge chipping inside but not really seen from the outer side (pictured). All glass panels do have aging, scrapes, and usage ware. SIDE NOTE- (These would look fabulous with new glass panels such as slag glass etc.). These lights will be magnificent with the original aging left as is or completely refinished, either way they will be gorgeous. Please keep in mind these are well over 100 years old and has cosmetic imperfections throughout such as flaking paint,scrapes, age fading ect. -Each light will hold one standard size bulb. Sorry bulbs not included. These lights are double mount plates so please check with your contractor if needed about proper mounting support ect. Lights are sold as you see them, original set and needing restoration & reconditioning to the new owners liking and discretion.
