Description: This is a very beautiful antique Dutch .833 silver repousse cylindrical "box" featuring a very detailed bar scene. The markings on this piece indicate it was made of .833 silver and is from the Utrecht Assay Office. The style of the "S" of the last mark indicates it was made in 1852. The maker's mark is a Z and S on either side of two crossed hammers. I am unable to find who this maker's mark belongs to. I believe it used to have a lid but has since been lost. The bottom of the inside of the piece has some ink markings (please see pictures). Very cool piece. It measures approximately 3" tall and 2.5" across at the widest part. Will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. Please don't hesitate to message me with questions and thanks for looking!
