Description: CONDITION: Excellent, without defects of any kind. Weight is 3 pounds 15 ounces unpacked. Requires double box for safe delivery. This porcelain vase was produced in the mid to late 19th century. It has a crossed swords marking, but many companies imitated the Meissen mark during that period. It appears to have been produced from a factory of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. There were also factories in Belgium which produced similar porcelains. The vase measures 10 inches tall and has a diameter of 9 1/4 inches. The shape of the vase is bulbous at the bottom and flares wide at the mouth. It is hand painted with amazing bouquets of brilliantly colored flowers, front and back. Blossoms, sprigs, butterflies and little bugs are scattered around. There is rich, lacy gilding inside the rim of the vase, at the waist of the vase and at the foot. The size and quality of the painting are extraordinary. It is a breath-taking piece of antique porcelain. #E210 Please do not bid if you do not intend to pay. You will be blocked from further purchases. Bids from buyers with 0 feedback will be removed.
