It measures approximately 10 inches length by 7" height by 7 1/4" wide. This is a wonderful piece with stenciling on all four sides. One long side reads "MADE BY WALTER BAKER & CO. LTD. DORCHESTER MASS". The other long side "GOLD MEDAL AWARDED WALTER BAKER & CO. AT PARIS EXPOSITION 1900 Keep Cool and Dry". One short side reads "W. BAKER & CO. DORCHESTER MASS. NO.1 CHOCOLATE ((PREMIUM)) 24-1/2 LB. PKGS. 12 LBS. NET". The other short side reads " WALTER BAKER & CO. LTD. ESTABLISHED 1780 DORCHESTER, MASS. REGISTERED TRADE MARK". Has the wonderful Walter Baker logo of a woman carrying a tray. It is in very good antique condition with expected wear from honest use. Two naturally occurring drying splits on bottom base, one drying split on end wall towards upper edge, traces of glue on two inside corners & some top outside edge wear on one end side wall.
