"See what a wonderful garden is here - Planted and trimmed for my little oh dear - Posies so gaudy and grass oh such brown - Search ye the country and hunt ye the ???? - And never ye'll ???? with a garden so ???? - As this one I've made for my little oh dear". Depicts a young girl in Edwardian style dress amongst flowers in a garden. The back stamp dates this piece between 1900 & 1910. Dimensions: diameter 170mm (6.7 inches). Condition: In very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or scratching. Some light rubbing to the gilt rim. The plate has a very good true sound to it when lightly tapped.
