Description: This is the 4th of twelve box sets that were released only in Japan for the Japanese comic market between 1988 - 1996. They collected the colour US versions of AKIRA that were released by Marvel/Epic Comics. They were printed in America, sent to Japan where the boxes were manufactured, the comics inserted and the Obi (the band around the outer box) added. This boxed set includes three first edition US colour versions of the original manga and a booklet with english-japanese translation. The boxes originally had an obi (a belt or belly band as it can be known) around the box, again, to find the boxes in their complete state is difficult. I'm an adult collector and everything I sell has been stored correctly in a smoke and pet free environment. The reason I sell these items is because I've eventually found a nicer example of them for my own collection. The photo's are the item you're buying. Thanks for looking!
