Description: 20 Aji Charapita Pepper Seeds grown without herbicides and pesticides. Aji Charapita Seeds are smaller than most peppers, they take a bit longer to get started. 90-100 days to harvest, so start early, and if you have a shorter growing season, recommend growing them in a pot or raised bed so they ripen faster. Plants will grow between 2-3 feet tall, and will be covered in small peppers, around 200 per plants. This pepper has a Peruvian origin, and is a bit more spicy than jalapeno peppers. The peppers start green and ripen to orange in late summer. Pepper pods are about 1/4 inch in diameter. Plants branch out laterally, generally do not need staking or support. Germination: tested 9-2024, in 14-20 days Tips:•Start indoors 4-8 weeks before last frost, plant outdoors once temperatures remain above 50 degrees F.•Store seeds in a cool and dry place and they will remain viable for several years Shipping: Shipped via first-class mail. US buyers only. Standard USPS first class delivery time is typically within 5 Business Days(85%), however due to USPS changes in the Fall 2023, especially around Georgia and Colorado, some mail is being delayed up to 10 Business Days. Please keep these timeframes in mind.
