Description: A fine pair of antique Japanese Satsuma vases with gilt decoration to the matte black ground, late 19th or early 20th century. Each vase measures 12cm tall, the bases have a gold two character mark inside a red cartouche. There is a little light wear / marking to the black ground in places but the vases are free from chips, cracks and restoration and display beautifully.
