Description: Collection of 98 miniature lead foot and cavalry soldiers (modeled after soldiers of the "30 Years War"). Foot soldiers measure ~16mm and cavalry ~25mm. There are no markings to suggest branding or year of production. The individual soldier designations (if any) are based on writing found on the bottom of the individual stands and writing found on the cigar boxes where these soldiers were stored (in this case, "Leaders, Command Groups / 30 yr, ECW" with soldier groups marked "dragoon", "Regt de Champagne, France", "Von Tillys Regt, Bavaria Imperialists", "Gustavas Adophas Life Regt., Sweden", etc.). These items are from an estate and I have not confirmed the historical accuracy of these designations, so please examine the photographs carefully.
