Description: Maker: This beautiful set of 8 gold trimmed dinner plates is by England's Paragon, which produced fine quality chinaware in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, England. Paragon was founded in 1903 by members of the Aynsley family and in 1972 it became part of Royal Doulton, which retired the Paragon brand name in 1992. Design: The Paragon mark, the pattern name Pitcher Plant and the series name Canadian Provincial Flowers are on the reverse of each plate. The Pitcher Plant is the provincial flower of the Canadian province of Newfoundland. Size: The plates are 10 3/4 inches wide and together weigh 10 pounds 7 ounces. Condition: They have no marks, nicks, chips, cracks, stains, discoloration, crazing, repairs or significant wear. There is light wear to the gold trim and each plate has several faint utensil marks so they would fit in best with a dinner service that is already in use. Please check all the photos very carefully - they are an important part of the description.
