Placed on the mag, it identifies the mag as having 223/556 rounds in it and not 300 Blackout rounds. 300 Blackout will fit in a .223 mag and will also chamber in a .223 rifle. The results could be catastrophic to the rifle as well as the operator. These bands fit all makes of mags, and are easily removed. Made of durable rubber, these are embossed with "458 SOCOM" in white.
