Description: Early Red Wing 4 Gallon Bullseye, Cobalt Blue Bee Sting Decoration, Stoneware Crock Butter Churn This crock churn has a very nice character and color. It has a large 6" long and thin hairline crack that goes down and up on its surface. And another hairline crack that goes down and up below the first mentioned hairline. It might had been due to a hit that produced a chip on its rim edge with something like a door. It appears although very sound. The churn is a beauty with nice patina. It is a salt glaze surface. It weights almost 16 pounds. Its condition is consistent with its age and use. Churn is part of our collection of over 20 years. A very charming stoneware churn to add to your collection. If you are very interested, drop me a note with a fair offer. Dimensions: 8 3/4" diameter wide at its rim x 15 5/8" high 9 1/2" diameter at the base. Overall width is 10 1/2"Dimensions are approx.
