Description: A lot with 30 generally well-frosted pieces of scarce and beautiful AQUAMARINE beach combed sea glass, mostly from the Pacific Northwest; mostly nice rounded pieces, but all with the dark inclusions, bubble pops and lumps typical of sea glass that has been in a fire. Aquamarine is quite rare in sea glass, as well as being possibly the most sought after color by jewelers and artists... it had very limited sources, including crudely manufactured glass insulators which means much sea glass in this color is rather "rough." These are some of the last from a lifetime collection; once they are gone, they are gone! Condition, etc.: Pieces are in generally smoothly frosted condition with all-over frosting (a few near perfect), but pretty much all pieces have various degrees of dark specks, shiny "bubble pops" and other roughness... as should be expected with bonfire glass. Range of smaller sizes measure from just under 3/8" (9mm) long to just about 5/8" (14mm) long. Very presentable pieces in a lovely and scarce color — whether you can "use" them for something or not; rarely offered! Please check all the photos! I try to give an impression of both SIZE (glass is pictured with a US Dime for scale reference) and QUALITY (large, clear close-up images) so you can clearly see what you are buying.
