Skateboard Veneer is typically produced in three grades or plys: Face 1/16", Core 1/16", and Crossband 1/24", and Core 1/16" and this combination gives the thinnest, lightest, strongest Board possible. This Skateboard Veneer Pack contains 28 plys/layers in Assorted Colors.Plys are 9.5" x 35"Perfect to press Short Skateboard Decks. Face Grade material is what makes up the first and seventh layers of the skateboard sandwich and is what can be seen from the outside Core Grade Material is the second, fourth, and sixth layers of the sandwich. Crossband Grade is the third and fifth layers of the sandwich. The wood grain goes in the same direction as the face grade and adds flexibility to the board when made in this construction. The grain goes across the direction of the other two grades and adds dimension stability.
