Description: Up for sale are 2 VERY NICE Oil on Canvas paintings by A. Gerhard. Both are framed, signed and dated 1903 in the bottom right hand corner. They are both very nice pieces, however, I cannot identify the artist. Both are professionally framed in very old gold frames. The frames are approximately 26" x 21". The actual pictures are approximately 19" x 14". The frames are approximately 2 1/2" in depth. Both frames have nicks, chips, cracks, stains, they are tarnished and the corners are splitting. Overall, the paintings are in Good Condition, but there are a few nicks, chips and scratches and possibly fading - although I have not examined them outside of the frames. Both pictures are painted in the same style, with dark colors. They would look great in fresh, new frames. An excellent investment and a perfect piece for any collector! Other small dings here and there. Together, these are heavy pieces, so please note shipping charges (especially international buyers).
