Featuring a soft black ground printed with a charming floral calico, remnant strips are wrapped into a solid ball, colors are soft and muted. I've been collecting rag balls for years - haven't found too many in black tones before - they are a charming primitive feedsack fabric. Condition is very good with no smells, stains or damage other than the material is worn and aged with fraying to the edges as shown - balls are slightly out of round from the hand made nature of how they were rolled. Think these are such neat American country rag balls -- a testament to a time when nothing went to waste! They look wonderful in a large basket or wood bowl!
