The illustration displayed is basically a blown-up version of the illustration that appears on the stein. Looks like the bottom portion was designed to slot into something or maybe slot between boxes or cases of beer. For a cardboard display over 20 years old, it's in very good condition - great color, no stains or tears. Also clean but does have a few crinkles at the top.
