This exciting 3 item package deal consists of a Space Exploration se-tenant set of Russian and U.S. stamp blocks from the program to Mars collection. The second 2 items are FULL SHEETS of the United States Space Exploration of Mars and the Russian Space Exploration of Mars. Note that the separate sheets show different currency and the Russian sheet shows the evolution from Sputnik to the Mir Space Station. The object of the project is to emphasize the partnership and cooperation necessary for man to reach Mars. Both stamps were issued simultaneously on May 29, 1992, in Chicago—at the 1992 World Colombian Stamp Exposition—and in Moscow.
